On August 28th, Silkroad held its fist "Intellectual Property Sharing Session" at City Gate, Hi-tech Zone. There were over 30 representatives from major state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, intellectual property agencies, financial institutions and universities attending this session. This is the first seminar held by Silkroad on intellectual property.
During this seminar, many representative shared experiences from their intellectual property work, especially on patent mining, patent analysis and making patent maps of technology enterprises. including the intellectual property chief director from ZTE Mr. Duan Guogang, the intellectual property manager from Nova Star Mr. Wang Haidong, general manager from Hezhi Intellectual Property Inc. Mr. Liu Zhen and manager from Zhicui Intellectual Property Inc. Mr. Li Dongjing. Afterwards, Professor Zhang Aiguo, director of intellectual property department from Northwest University of Political Science and Law, put forward his own view on the studied problems including talents construction. At the end of the seminar, the participants still engaged in a heated discussion on the content of the all the session and the problems encountered in practice.
The form and content of this seminar were well recognized and supported by all the attendees. This seminar provided an outline of the strategy of intellectual property operating, a reference to intellectual property practice and a guideline to intellectual property talent training. This seminar was conducive to the improvement of intellectual property practice. Mr. Zhu Yanzhen, an associate from Silkroad, run the seminar and said that more such seminars would be carried out in the future to strengthen our connection. For mutual improvement and contribution, more enterprises, agencies and scholars are welcomed.
